Incendies 2010
I had to pause at multiple moments because it became too much to take in. Some scenes really linger on in your mind. They force you to look inward, empathize with the characters, and make you reflect on your own emotions and values.
And yet, after two hours of experiencing all these horrors of war and personal struggles, they were able to conclude in a way that feels truly human. Really powerful stuff.
