  Because Greta Gerwig’s Barbie is kind of the genesis of the Barbenheimer phenomenon, it feels like many people engaging in the double feature dismiss it as the butt end of the joke. I’ve seen people treat it as though it were a children’s film (it’s PG-13 please don’t bring your toddlers), or even as a “cute” way to recover from Oppenheimer.
