  I don't want to sound like a snob but if I see a film, I want something to happen in said film. This film has some good ideas but wastes them with bad audio design (which it mistakes for horror), needless ambiguity about literally everything that is happening (which it also mistakes for horror), and no real outlets for its perpetually building tension. Look, if you tell me to look into a dark void, I might be scared. If you tell me to do that for 100 minutes, I get used to the darkness and then I just get bored.
