Modern classic. Throws soooo many red herrings that add to the mystery and suspense in the first section of the film. Once the plot starts to thicken and the scares start, it’s actually nice to have the juxtaposed scenes with mr sexual assault, and how he ends up in the same spot as Tess. Absolutely heartbreaking, jaw dropping, and immersive. This film does a great job depicting the real life consequences of supernatural powers, and the effect of trauma turned into anger. The found-footage style was an interesting choice, but it was shot incredibly well without breaking the raw feel of the story.
