  Godzilla Minus One 2023

  Never thought a Godzilla movie would get me this emotional but here we fucking are.

  It is so refreshing to see a film with as much reverence for its titular character which refuses to indulge in it. While Hollywood is all too comfortable with churning out mindless blockbusters with colourful spectacle and little more, Godzilla Minus One is interested only in what embodies the humanity that makes it's monster so gargantuan and significant. For all it's sweeping visual prowess, it is a celebration of life and all things that prevail.

Following
