What a beautiful & interesting film. Totally in awe of the mastery by PTA and the amazingly detailed performance by sir daniel day-lewis every time i watch it. The intricate and stunning designs and the set locations, as well as the sensitivity of sir lewis’ character, the hierarchies and complexity of relationships, the tension and urgency, and the chaos bring us right into the heart of fashion in London. I can imagine designers like Lee Alexander McQueen and John Galliano’s life through this setting.
The colors, sound, texture, dialogues, movements, silhouettes, expression of emotion, just wow.
