  wow… just wow
  it’s like people talk all the time about “fever dreams” but this is just the epitome of that and david lynch really captures the essence of that in not just this film but all of his work. i really like the eerie and uneasy aspect of this film, it truly is psychological horror. the heightened, chilling feeling of unpredictability is something you don’t see these days at all where you can pinpoint exactly what’s going to happen…

  “It’s like you’re giving me a life sentence”
  
  that final court scene rlly got me because all she hears during the sentencing is her lifetime ban from skating. she doesn’t care about the 3 years of parole, nor the $150k+ fines. all she has known her whole life is being taken from her and there’s absolutely nothing she could do about it… that’s pretty much equivalent to a life sentence in prison if not worse
