Three Billboards Outside Ebbing, Missouri 2017
What a movie. Had no idea where where it was going (in a good way), and such great performances. Films with such complicated and rough characters are so interesting when done right. And what a perfect ending. This is actually up there with In Bruges for me I think as far as Martin McDonagh movies go. Damn. Loved.

Old Guy 2024
Not doing anything new or unique, Old Guy is still an enjoyable enough entry into the 'geezer action movie' library. Christoph Waltz plays an older assassin pulled back into the action he's so desperate to still be a part of (despite his age and injuries/strain) but only so he can train a younger cockier assassin.
I've usually lamented that I feel Waltz is usually wasted in everything I've seen him in not directed by Tarantino, but I actually found him…Translated from by -
