  This has some of by far the greatest filmmaking and is easily one of the best directed movies of last year which is a testament to why no one should take the oscars too seriously... that said I'm very happy for Anora's success!

  This was a phenomenal Israeli militarily drama with strong characters and compelling narratives. The performances are outstanding and again the characters are very well realized and individualized in the context of horrific circumstances. I do love tales of self sacrifice, brotherhood, and honor but I’ve always felt that at the core of every good war movie/series is an anti-war message. I couldn’t recommend this more

  I absolutely love this movie and will probably go down as my favorite blockbuster of the year. It's so beautifully crafted with vision, heart, creative passion, and cultural integrity. Honestly I prefer this as musical in comparison to Hamilton which I didn't even dislike but the story in this definitely spoke more to me. Anthony Ramos is a phenomenal talent, this is Jon M. Chu's best directorial work, Quiara Alegria Hudes adapted this screenplay wonderfully. I've got nothing but love for this. My standout number being 96,000 but every musical sequence is captured amazingly.
