I Saw the TV Glow 2024
edit: as soon as i came home i start uncontrollably sobbing
there is a longing inside me to love this with my whole heart and parrot it as the masterpiece so many do, but the awe that enveloped me as the credits rolled was more so “that’s it?” than “wow. holy shit.” but i feel that also may be part of the point of the movie?
the overly fast pacing, the meaning cloaked in opaque metaphor, the dense, strange choices…
