A solid film, well acted and with a good premise.
I did feel like the pacing was slightly off towards the end and I felt myself eager to see it finished.
I wouldn’t say I’m a Bob Dylan fan and I feel like this is made for someone who is.
Beyond the music, I feel like the film didn’t really stand out and I would have liked more exploration of relationships. It all felt a step removed/distanced.
I’m currently debating whether this, or Fantastic Mr Fox, is my favourite Wes Anderson film. Whimsy and stylistic enough but balanced by a great plot and character voice acting.
I may be on a high from the last episode - but a fantastic series with brillaint acting from all the dominant female roles. An initially slow paced mystery that leads you down all the wrong paths before revealing the truth.
