Licorice Pizza 2021
A light-hearted coming-of-age movie about paedophilia.
The main character of the film (a 25 year old) falling for the love interest (a 15 year old) is a very curious idea to write into with a film. If done well this could have been a brilliant commentary on the sexism in paedophilia viewpoint between the sexes, however this wasn't the end result even, if it was the directors intention.

A self aware reflection on the slasher genre, Scream (2022) is an extraordinary film.
With its legacy characters not getting a lot of attention (even with one dying early on), and it's extensive use of the Dutch tilt angle, the film obviously knows what it's doing in terms of irony.
Whilst the ending is lack luster, and the the dialogue is less than desirable, this movie is a delight
