  This really fucking hit. I know I’m going to say how much I relate to this as an Asian American. Although I didn’t know Taiwanese language, it was interesting to have that barrier. It felt very interesting in a way how big the gap is between the kids and the elders. The moments of silence and awkward dialogue felt a bit too real.
