    A movie about what thrills and terrifies us in equal, inseparable measure. We feel danger right on the other side of the glass, but we just can’t look away. Even after the blood splatters, that very close shave is weighed against the catharsis of knowing and we judge it a fair trade. We do this in real life in all kinds of ways, but the gift of (particularly well-made) cinema is the ability to do so in our own comfort and safety without sacrificing someone else’s.
