That was weird, but it was also pretty fun. I'd watch it again. There were some occasional cringe/secondhand embarassment moments, but I appreciate that they generally came out of J being genuinely excited or curious or wanting to help people (or occasionally the fact that he's too busy getting stuff done and thinking for himself to care about what everyone else in the room things, which I can also get behind). I liked the interactions and the banter and the idea of a world hidden behind the normal.

Oh, and there's a cute cat. I appreciate that quite a lot.

ALkjflkdjflkdsjflksdjf I didn't know how much I needed this movie, but I NEEDED THIS MOVIE. The beginning was super confusing, true. But I really appreciate Carol's approach to her problems and overall style (of fighting and also of just being). She's so direct and I love her. AND THE ENDING. Not the most spectacular of climactic battles, no, but her response to the villains? Fantabulous. Iconic. She's not perfect, obviously. She makes her share of mistakes. But she's still powerful…

Yeah, it was ok. Not my favorite MCU film, but it's also not the worst. I like Scott, and I like the emphasis on family, and I like the general humor. But the stupid mistakes some of the characters make frustrate me a lot. Also, the end credits scene made me mad. :P
