  Trying to get into Lynch after a lifetime of kinda half-watching Lost Highway at various points and my god. Another "innocent voyeur steps into the dark underbelly of suburbia" erotic thriller on the face of it, but one that doesn't shy away from the inherent homoeroticism of men doing violence against men like so many do. Dennis Hopper is a raging avatar of masculine id, pathetic and terrifying and ingratiating at the same time, a lead weight on a rubber…
