The Philadelphia Story 1940
I’ve lost track of how many times I’ve seen this but this was my first time watching it in a movie theater - what a lovely experience!! So many of the line deliveries are burned in my brain and watching this is just a delight, every time. Doubtless, without a doubt!

Stop Making Sense 1984
what an absolute joy and so special this time to see it in a theater of 3000 other people, some experiencing it for the first time and some who clearly knew every frame. it truly felt like being at the concert - people were dancing in the aisles and everyone was cheering at classic moments and clapping at the end of every song. felt connected to the audience(s) at the Pantages from 40 years ago in a very cool way!

Count me among the “I didn’t think this could possibly work but everyone said it was great so I watched it and now I also think it’s great” crowd! The Rock DJ sequence alone… just incredible stuff. I think Demi Adejuyigbe’s review really covers anything insightful I could have had to say about this so I would encourage people to read it.
