  I can truly admire what Peckinpah was doing here and the climax is really great but I feel like David shouldn't be the main character. It truly feels like Amy is the main character but she's unfortunately sidelined from her ability to have an arc and is just left as the traumatized, helpless lady while David steps up and takes charge. I know the story is trying to essentially give him a back bone and I do like Peckinpah's style…

  When that YouTube algorithm recommendation hits just right 😔👌🏻.

  I love being able to laugh for an hour and 7min straight and then the last 4 min hits you like a drunk driver on a country road listening to Sweet Home Alabama as you are mesmerized by the light show of headlights and disco hood ornaments approaching you. Still one of the most oddly deep and thematically rich standup specials I've seen.

  Yo, I straight up didn't have a fun time. This movie is pretty bad for a lot of reasons. The robotics are pretty neat and you can tell Wall-e's design was inspired by Johnny 5. The writing and acting are just atrocious and the whole thing felt like a TV movie introducing a brand new sci-fi series for MTV.
