  The Batman 2022

  In short, I admire this film for exploring the darker side of Batman and his relationship with Gotham, the cinematography, acting, soundtrack, and really, everything in between immersed me in a bleak and corrupt world. My first watch was with my little brother who wasn't quite old enough to understand much of the political elements to the movie, but he still left the theater pogging, so he had a good time, and that's enough to make me happy.

  Ghostbusters: Afterlife 2021

  The cookie cutter, bullet point plot combined with the shallow and unlikeable characters made this movie a slap in the face to watch. Just a bad movie full of the worst tropes you can think of that made itself even worse by slapping the name "Ghostbusters" on it. I'd love for this to have been the tribute to Harold Ramis that it should have been, but it was nothing more than a soulless cash grab. Just sickening.
