Four Lions 2010
all the jokes still land so damn well. It’s got that British edge but it still stands as one of the more poignant satires I’ve ever seen. Maybe in some places it’s disingenuous but you’d never feel it on a first watch bc/ the performances.
i feel so biased saying it bc i identify with the characters and subject matter but ill take it man it’s one of the best comedy films ever made
