Unrealistic for me cause I'm so stubborn that I wouldn't have walked back in the room to continue the argument but I would've got madder that he didn't follow me.
I'm not sure meeting all the other couples worked as we're purely focused on them for the rest of the films that it felt kina pointless to learn about these characters we won't see again just to bring the plot forward.
Overall this is a good trilogy and I think this is the most realistic of the bunch unfortunate
This is probably my favourite Guadagnino film I've watched (which with my track record reviewing his films is like being the fastest Snail so) that being said I still don't think I loved it.
Reading the book first was the right decision because it's so much better. You just can't get the same sort of emotion in a film that you do in the book, we see inside Elios mind and how he's feeling which gives us much more depth…
