The Truman Show 1998
The only thing is that I don't perceive Jim Carrey as a serious person? Most of his characters are satirical characters. I think this character should've been played by another actor, because again, the film didn't feel as serious as it had to because of Jim Carrey (in my imagination).

It's really disturbing and disgusting. The idea of the movie is strong. One shouldn't run after youth and beauty. One should accept themselves just the way they are. But, shit, the scenes of transforming were disgusting. The scenes when someone was chewing something, or getting dirty (hands, mouth), the scenes where the girl was dancing on the TV show, it was disturbing. I understand that the filmmakers wanted to convey those emotions, and they really did a great job, but it was too much for me. I felt nauseous throughout the film and felt my body aching.
