  As a non binary person myself, I felt mostly awkward watching this and I couldn't really put my finger on what was bothering me, but after thinking about it for a while, I think it its the fact that it's supposed to be a short documentary about Alok, but it also tries be a documentary about non binary people and queerness, while still talking a lot about Alok, like they were some kind of non binary guru everyone should look…

  No puedo creer que estoy llorando por un raspado. I watched this shortfilm at the Berlinale and I didn't know it takes place in Veracruz. I live in Germany and I haven't had the chance to visit my home country México in almost five years. Hearing the dialogues, seeing the beach in Coatzacoalcos and that raspado being prepared so cinematically made me way too emotional. I hope I can soon also visit the malecón and spend a nice warm day…
