    man really made a whole movie about his proclivity for women older than him and about him being the coolest, most approachable person in any room.
    i don't have any doubt that cooper raiff is a really charming, nice person but he's made a film quite excruciatingly earnest that feels like the less effective judd apatow movies but distilled and with an hour runtime chopped out.

    very effective suspense chiller, particularly in the first two acts where it totally sells the paranoia and the sadness of being lonely and wandering around an unfamiliar place where it's difficult to communicate with the people around you (particularly when the men around the lead character can only respond to her with condescension and disbelief).
    maika monroe is so good in this - you can see her stomach drops in the moments her character is in for a spook. beyond…
