this is probably one of the saddest and most beautiful films i’ve ever watched. there’s basically no dialogue and i spent the first half trying to piece together all the b-roll shots of open road with the unexplained encounters with different women bud has along his trip. i think there’s a fine line that the brown bunny dances upon that makes the difference in it being captivating instead of boring, because it still feels like every shot has a purpose.…
