had to sleep on it - wasn’t easy. beautifully crafted film; with each scene, costume and decor, showing egger’s artistic vision. it definetly shows that so much thought went into making this gothic tale his own.
many jumpscares, which I didn’t expect (so they worked), as prolonged tension was the theme of his last movies, but I guess he had it coming.
I’m kinda afraid of vampires now, they used to be cool and edgy. damn
