  The Matrix Revolutions 2003

  The fact that the matrix trilogy starts as an edgy action thriller and ends as a literal DBZ/Evangelion episode is absolutely unhinged and I’m here for it. I honestly love the story and the sacrifice stuff. The fact that it’s all cyclical makes it fun to rewatch as well. Even if it is hamfisted as all hell you have to give them credit for pulling it off way before the MCU.

  It’s crazy to me how they didn’t get Rachel Weiss but they just went ahead and pretended it was fine. The script is like a meme of a concept of a movie.

  I saw a clip saying that Michael Caine met with Jim Henson and said he was going to play this straight. Like a Shakespeare play. And Jim Henson said “Perfect”.
  That’s what made me want to finally watch this.

   It’s truly a Christmas classic and so heartwarming in the end. If only people could listen and change like Mr. Scrooge did. I don’t usually like Christmas in general but this one gives you the Merry feels.

  This movie was half black comedy, half faux-documentary. These movies are the reason we love A24. No one else would have greenlit this. This is definitely an art film that is worth the watch.
