the plot of this movie is what i think would have happened if Eve from WALL-E had been lost somewhere in the world, sometime between our current epoch and the one before it was abandoned and overrun by trash.

a movie about two cousins on a trip and one is a real pain. but also a movie about grief and propriety. Jesse Eisenberg and Kieran Culkin are great foils. it’s a really beautiful film.
