  um. I genuinely don’t know what to say or how to feel about this. maybe I’ll watch it again some other time and maybe I’ll have things to say later. for now, it just definitely wasn’t for me.

  Definitely less sexual and more psychological than I thought it would be. The number of times I had to hit pause and take a break and practice my breathing after certain things Harris Dickinson said throughout the movie…. 
  Overall, a very mediocre movie but I’m still pleasantly surprised because I expected much worse.

  Almost fell asleep during the first half, but the movie really picks up in the second. I don’t know if it’s just me but I’m also not the biggest fan of Count Orlok’s stereotypical monstrous appearance and voice. I feel like it gives off a textbook, child’s-play kind of monster vibe, the type you find in horror movies that make you laugh rather than feel intimidated.

  I did not expect to like it as much as I did, honestly. I loved the docu-style and the camera work. Sebastian Stan and Jeremy Strong deserved more recognition for their performances, they were absolutely incredible.

Following
