this was haunting. it captured womens unease around men so skillfully and left me so so heartbroken for all the women whose stories aren't believed, and are silenced even now. this follows the true story of serial killer rodney alcala and the film shows the clear difference between a movie about violence against women that’s directed by a woman and not a man. the violence is raw, emotional and gives power to the victims rather than glorifying the killer.
