As someone who honestly hasn't seen a whole load of 80s films (at least not like this one), this was quite a refreshing watch. It's a simple film, with a simple theme and a simple plot. I can see why it's so well loved, as it does all these things wonderfully - like fresh bread and butter, just very comforting.
