David Locke’s mid life crisis is the picture of identity, disillusionment, and existentialism. He impersonates an arms dealer without even knowing the full story and just goes along with it to feel something. He didn’t even do it for journalism! I was really excited for what his wife had to say to him if he hadn’t died. The beginning of the movie really depicted solitude and frustration— Nick was trying to sleep next to us and the movie had no words
