Black Panther: Wakanda Forever 2022
I can’t even imagine how hard this was to make - it’s messy and too long, but Coogler clearly loves these characters and the actors who play them. The scene where Bassett and Nyongo meet at the orphanage in Haiti is stunning - two beautiful people in the most beautiful costumes. To stretch the otherwise rather bland comic story of Atlantis to the historically rich Talocan is so much more creative than Marvel has been since. Marvel needs more directors…

Maybe I’m too much a bureaucrat for my own good, but who writes the congressional parts of these shows? Like the house speaker is not going to hold a press conference to announce the ranking member of a special committee. And there is 0 chance a serious party would put the daughter of the commission chair on the committee.
And a special commission isn’t going to just drop at a last minute press conference that the government wrote the code…
