Nah, this movie didn’t give me anything :-(

This movie feels very relevant and relatable in many ways. Seeing the catharsis at the end and then immediately being confronted with reality, being shouted at and feeling unsafe, made me angry at the world. (That and many other reasons though.)

I'm still processing this movie, but not in the way where you want to immediately watch it a second time. The movie felt on the nose with intent, with a very clear and strong message, covered in 'over the top' without being too much. It tapped into a childlike fearfulness I haven't felt in a long time, a fear I couldn't relativize. (My partner felt this too and I thought that was really cool!!) I cried, I laughed and had to contain a panic attack during the end credits.
