Has potential.
Lots of foreshadowing.
Lacks information on the actual threat and how to beat it, also how Shawn overthrew it.
It Follows vibes.
What would you do if you woke up in the middle of nowhere with a man you don't know, threateningly looming over you and a hammer in your hand that says 'kill him'?

I hated this?!?! The minute they started talking about crying on cue had me eye rolling with its "sociopathic tendencies" bullshit. The only thing that kept me going was that I was going to see Anton Yelchin at some point. The more the chapters went on, the more I cringed at their attempt at avant-gardism and the hatred of the stepfather wasn't even justified. I thought this movie was going to make me feel the teenage monstrosity that My Chemical Romance describes in Teenagers.
