  The way Chihiro is more and more confident through the movie is perfectly depicted. We can see how this traumatizing experience forced her to grow up, because she knew she was the only one who could save her parents.

  special mentions to my friend who kept pointing out every Ghibli's references in the movie BUT ALSO TO THE GIANT SILVERFISH WHO TURNED OUT TO BE A RIVER SPIRIT AND NOT A STINKY AND MUDDY BALL WITH ARMS !
