A Face in the Crowd 1957
An undeniably timeless take on the power of influencers and media over the people. It’s quite terrifying how much this film holds over half a century after debuting and far scarier how many parallels there are between the main character and Donald Trump.
“They’re mine! I own them! They think like I do, but they are even more stupid than I am, so I gotta think for them.”
Last, but certainly not least, Andy Griffith’s performance has to be in the top 5 best acting I have ever seen. An absolute must watch!
