  When a movie has to resort to a one liner about butts you already know it’s not going to be a cinematic masterpiece. The edit to keep out Amber was a stretch… you could tell that originally there was a lot more there. 2 stars in generous. With enough explosions you can earn the 1/2 star to total 2.

  Timothée Chalamet as Wonka brought back the childlike wonder that Gene Wilder originally brought to the character of Willy Wonka. The movie was cute and a fun watch.
