This movie is kind of bad at being one, first off lemme just say that for the second half of this movie they’re making jump-cuts WHILE characters are talking and it really infuriated me because of how quickly that un-immersed me.
Dementia is a universally scary reality, and they did a great job reeling the watcher in by presenting itself as a genuine documentary, but it’s constant switch from found footage horror to documentary footage only worked when the stakes…

this movie is the best example i can give you of movie studios using AI in their films; it’s THAT bad. i remember watching this with my brother in an AMC theater and let me just say the script for this movie is so fucking bad that you could watch this and predict like 50% of what the lines are going to be to a jumpscare or something. i don’t know why executives can’t just rotate their budget to accommodate for REAL screenwriters.
