  The screenplay for the film was written by Nabokov himself. Although Kubrick used only small part of the script which is highly disappointing because movie doesn’t show importance of the topic in Nabokov’s work. The book was narrated by Humbert who was simply a pedophile. The events presented can be easily taken for the narrator’ sick imagination. However Kubrick shows the viewer a more objective point of view which in my opinion presents more of a romance between a child…
