A family-friendly and dialogue-free Life of Pi where hope is more than just a string to hold on to. The animal designs might look like they come from a 2000s videogame, but the breathtaking landscapes, epic narrative and harrowing action sequences could easily belong in a third Fantasia. It is equally soothing and mesmerizing. As a post-pandemic film, Flow beautifully captures the fragility of our natural ecosystem and the resilience of all its living beings. A rightful winner of film awards and people’s hearts.
