a robinson-crusoe-esque female survivor story taking place in the alps amidst a mysterious invsible wall seperating our protagonist from the rest of civilization, by itself an interesting concept, completely hampered by the experience being about as exciting as watching paint dry

you definitely can sense that this is the debut film of a graphic designer. not all of the rather playful ideas gel, but chihara’s inventiveness still comes of as very charming. it is easy to notice the films origin as a short story. we really only get a glimpse of what troubles these women as the story just silently fades away towards the end
