I believe Blue Velvet is a masterpiece and is a movie that has so many layers and ways of interpreting it that you could go on an on.   I don’t know how you take a movie with such a sick idea and cool aesthetic opportunity and just make it suck. Boring, woke-ish, and lacking any grit whatsoever. Was very disappointed.
