i expected them to leave things out but i didnt expect that much to be removed. im bummed by that. just make a long movie. but regardless, i loved the acting from snow, lucy, sejanus, and tigris's actors. that and the lyrics, especially of the closing song (was that wrtten for the movie? probably. i cant remember when it came out), helped me really decide on if i felt if lucy's alive or not. anyways. yeah

main character makes absolutely no growth. movie starts with him depressed with no loved ones and it ends the same way but now he lives somewhere else. introduces his nephew he cheats on girls and the only thing he does throughout the movie is hangout with the different girlfriends and occasionally talks about his absent mom. and at ONE POINT he shows some emotion when he cries by the fridge.

people go to asteroid city because they like space. there r some smart kids, too. a couple ppl fall in love. they see an alien but its actually all a play ?????and then they all leave. ????
"youre not supposed to get it" well could it have at least been enjoyable while not making sense?
