  Redownloaded Letterboxd to write this review. 

  This movie blew me away. There were a few moments while I was watching it where I couldn’t believe this movie got made honestly. Some parts felt almost too avant-garde and obscure for even A24. 

  Films/music/art in general that explore the concept of escapism often bore me to death and can get tired real quick for me. But there was something about this kept me intrigued.

  Beautiful aesthetically, amazing performance from Justice Smith and extra points for the amazing soundtrack— which put this movie on my radar. This may be my next go-to watch/comfort movie? Is that weird?

  I could write a 10pg academic paper on how marty chose to close out this film. Gagged me a bit with that one. 

  Lost points because Robert di Nero sounds like he’s speaking Italian when he speaks in Osage but what can you do 🤷‍♀️

  Points taken away for having to look at Tom cruise for 3 hours.
