  I didn’t want to just jump on the hate train because of online discourse, but I genuinely don’t know how this is even an Oscar contender, let alone a front runner that’s already won multiple other awards. 
  Starting with the opening of the movie with a bazillion production logos, it felt insane. None of the songs make any sense and none of them are catchy. Actually, WHY IS IT A MUSICAL.
