Wicked 2024
The direction when Cynthia Erivo was singing The Wizard and I was so well thought out. When she sings, "What if I degreenify you," the glass shards in the gazebo shine on her skin, temporarily degreenifying her. BEAUTIFUL.
I am and always will be a theater kid, so seeing this in a theatrical feature was a full-circle moment. I can't wait for their adaptation of For Good–one of my favorite theater songs!
