Weirdly paced where if you watched it not seeing the original it would make zero sense. The girl who plays Gretchen is good and uniquely charismatic in her role but everyone else kind of blows even though they are good actors in other things?

Insane how much was fit into a runtime of under an hour.
It does not matter how small of a life you are born into, what matters is if you have the desire to move or change, and that desire however resigned into yourself never actually leaves. The old man broke my heart, you could imagine the 30 years of contentment and quiet wanting.
