  The way some of the scenes in this movie had me saying “NOPE” should tell you enough. It was beautifully filmed and confusing in all the right ways.

  I mean it was gay, it was comedic, it was rock n’ roll. What more could you ask for? I personally love the approach marvel movies are taking as of late. Introducing new characters, mixing in comedy/horror with all the action. Also the character development now feels almost equally important to the story as the plot, nice.

  I think this film made leaps towards being satirical, and there were definitely parts which stressed the instability and creative lengths a film maker will go to to ensure their product comes out as intended. But I found that this film gave lengthy scenes that really honed in on plot and driving the character’s storylines further, but we didn’t necessarily see character development or anything outside of the main plot. I was also able to guess what would happen in a few scenes, which for me feels cliché.

  (Which, is to say others might like this film but it wasn’t my jam.)
