yk i really wanted to like this movie. the beginning was extremely promising, but i do think it loses its away about halfway through. the final act was excessively gory to the point it felt meaningless, and it seemed as if it was meant more to shock its viewers than wrap up the conversations it had opened with. idk!

incredible attention to detail, like even the most seemingly insignificant conversations or mindless quips have intention and impact. the final match was thrilling to watch. tashi got her ‘good fucking tennis’ while patrick was able to witness art at his most depraved. but what did art want? tashi reprimanded patrick for his lack of passion, gorging herself on an illusion where she resides in art’s place. she halfheartedly convinced herself that art mirrored her determination, and when this vision disintegrated, she fled to patrick’s vigor. also what was the significance of that fucking shirt i’m racking my brain here please help
